For this list, we have searched and tested several brokers with Nasdaq.

We opened real accounts and deposited between $4,000 and $8,000 with each of the brokers. We placed real trades in each popular market to get the real spreads. We also reached out to customer support to solve issues that we had encountered. Finally, we withdrew our funds to see if there is any issue with the withdrawal process.

We handpicked the best brokers with Nasdaq based on our trading data and experience as a trader.

What is Nasdaq?

Nasdaq – originally “National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations” – is a global online stock exchange market operating since 1971; it is the world’s second-largest market after NYSE (New York Security Exchange).
For more information read Nasdaq’s Wikipedia article or visit their official website

  • It started as a subsidiary of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), a predecessor to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
  • Later in 2006, it split from the NASD and began to operate as a national securities exchange.
  • Since its introduction in 1971, Nasdaq has listed approximately 4,000 companies: such tech giants as Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Tesla, Nvidia, etc.
  • In 2008, it merged with Scandinavian exchanges group OMX to become the Nasdaq OMX Group.

Nasdaq is a publicly-traded company, hence you can buy or invest in the company’s shares. There are several ways how traders can trade Nasdaq:

  • Trade Nasdaq directly
  • trade Nasdaq through ETFs
  • trade Nasdaq shares
  • speculate only on a price movement by CFDs Trading without owning the instrument itself

Trading Nasdaq might be quite costly and require a large margin, so traders can trade micro or mini Nasdaq 100.

Many forex and CFD brokers allow traders to gain exposure to Nasdaq 100 Index on a CFD basis without owning the actual shares, but rather speculate on price movements.
